I found her like this the other day

She was actually hiding under a blanket and trying to open a piece of candy.

Her prized piece of candy. A huge sucker

How she reacted when I took it away.

Yep, the days of hiding things from mommy have begun. I just can't believe that she is actually old enough to think of that. How did she grow up so fast? And just so you know, I didn't give in right away. Later in the day she found it again, and I just couldn't take it away the second time. Fortunately she didn't even really like it, so she didn't eat it for long. I can't wait till all of the halloween candy is gone (but I can only eat so much each night =).

No, she's still your baby. Ummm, she's just extra deviant. Wait, I mean smart for her age. Ha! Ok, that crying face was too funny. I know my heart is supposed to melt, but when a kid does it just to get his/her way, it's almost comical. You're a good mom!!!
Amen! We have similar problems with the Halloween stash. Annie wants it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Her face looks very similar to Brooke's when I tell her, "No!" And it is hard to tell them no.
I'm sure you probably didn't think so at the time, but she's adorable! What a stinker - learned a thing or two from her brothers, I guess?
I too am diligently trying to make the Halloween candy disappear. Only it's showing up again on my thighs. Not good.
yep, she's not a baby anymore. you're a good mom for taking the candy away though. tough love.
