First Day of School!

Well, the boys had a great first day of school. Chase was less than thrilled at the prospect at going back, Spencer was totally excited and Dylan very fittingly was right in the middle.

Can't you just see the joy on Chase's face? Actually he is happy about his teacher, I think that he will have a good year. He has another male teacher, which was great last year, so I think that this year will be a fun. I can't believe that he is in the 4th grade. Wow. Dylan has one of the two teachers that he had last year, so he is happy. Spencer started Pepp this year, which is a program they offfer in our school district for kids with later birthdays. Basically it is a two year kindergarten. Spencer has loved being at school.

This was Chase at his first football scrimmage. I don't have a closeup of him yet, but he is the one standing up in the back on the right. Crazy that I have a son playing tackle football. I still don't know how I feel about a game where all they do is run into each other as hard as they can, on purpose. But he seems to really be enjoying it. It was a busy first day of school, but we made it.
