Sea World

We finally made it to Seaworld this past weekend. We have had passes since August, but have only gone once during the school year. They have a new kids section that has some rides in it. One of the rides is a tea cup ride which we took Brooke on, who was excited to be on it until it actually started, then the look on her face was priceless. It was about as close you can come to crying without actually crying. It was sad but kind of funny. But then after she was all smiles again.

The next ride was a little milder, and she had fun on that.

But this is where she was the happiest of all!

The kids had a lot of fun getting soaked. It actually wasn't that warm, and Brooke wouldn't get near the water spurting up, but Spencer and Dylan were completely drenched.

First Day of Summer Vacation!

This is how we spent our first day of summer. At the pool (in our backyard). The kids all had a great time splishing and splashing in the little pool. I think that the older kids actually had more fun than the little kids (and it probably had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that the little kids could hardly stand up because the big kids were so rowdy =).
This was a rare moment that Brooke actually had the pool all to herself.

Great Job Chase!

These are Chase's Coaches this Year. Rick Mitchell, Jeff Holcomb, and Steve Quis. Good job guys, and good job Chase. Chase had quite a year this year playing baseball for the Yankees. This was the first year of kid pitch, so unfortunately that means that the pitches aren't always accurate. Needless to say, Chase was hit several times with the ball when he was up to bat. He stuck in there though, and had a great season. He also got runover while playing catcher, that was quite a hit, but we said that it was preparing him for football this fall. I still am not so sure about this football thing, but I have heard it is a lot of fun, so we will just wait and see.

Sports finished for another season!

Spencer's first Soccer Team. The kids had so much fun. Go Bulls!
Dylan's first Soccer Team. They placed first in their division, so they get their picture on the wall. Go Manchester United!
Chase's baseball team got first place in the regular season, and got 2nd place in the tournament. Go Yankees!
We are excited to be all done, and take a break (just in time for summer)!

Chase got the shortest cut of all.

Haircut Anyone?

Dylan was not too happy about getting his hair cut. Spencer had a great time however.

This was Brooke on Easter Day, what a cutie pie!

First Blog entry

Well, this is my first attempt at "blogging" it looks like fun, so I thought that I would give it a try. I will have to do a little more, after the kids are in bed.
